Bismillah wa al-hamdulillah, wa salaatu wa salaam 'ala rasoolillah.
I'm being haunted. Not by a ghost, or a jinn, or any living person-- I'm talking about the stacks of books I have that pretty much just decorate my bedroom. Literally, that's all they are now, decoration. Lately I've been doing my best to read them and make use, but subhan Allah I'm slowly starting to realize that it's not as easy as I thought. There's nothing worse than being ignorant, and I know that I will be brought into account for not acting upon that knowledge I had in my possession. So my plan for this winter break is to gather all of my books, organize them onto my shelf in order of importance, and do my best to benefit as much as I can insha'Allah. I think I'm going to start with 'Purification of the Soul' by Jamaal al-Din Zarabozo, and a friend of mine who also has a copy is joining me.
In other news, I have 3 exams left so the only books I'll be cracking open are my school books.
