All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, Light of the heavens and the Earth. The only One who can give guidance, and the only One who can guide those who have gone astray.
As I write this post, I struggle to keep the tears in my eyes, and my heart aches as I remind myself of the state of young Muslims that I know. And I swear by Allah, that a share of this blame is upon me, and yet I still haven't done anything to solve it; may Allah have mercy on me.
The young girls that I always see at the masjid, the same young girls who I see attending the Islamic conferences, and the very same young girls that I see volunteering in the community...
They are the ones posting pictures of themselves online without their hijaabs.
They are the ones gossiping on the phone, using vulgar language, and behaving immodestly.
And they are the ones who listen to music, who flirt with boys, and commit sins publicly.
What has happened to us older girls? How is it that our younger sisters have reached this state of heedlessness and yet we still go about our ways, as if this does not concern us. And if any of us think that, then we're soon going to be in for a rude awakening. It is their right over us to set an example for them, to mentor them, and to remind them. They would be more likely to listen to us rather than the older women, because of the shorter age gap.
Allahu musta'an. May Allah guide these girls, and increase them in faith, and remove them from this state of ghafla. And may He forgive those of us who have forgotten them, or do not care about them.
Ya Muqallib Al-Quloob, thaabit quloobana 'ala deenik; Oh Controller of the hearts, make our hearts firm upon Your religion.

Subhanallahh,
As I read that I really felt the guilt, the same thing happens around my community & it's as if they were never involved with the Masjid & Islamic programs because of how much public sins they display.
Authobillah, ameeen & May Allah Guide Us All & Keep Us On The Straight Path. AMEEN THUMMA AMEEN
jazakuallah kair for this reminder uhkti, we should try to take charge of this situation because if left alone the bad behavior will be passed on to the younger ones.
Ameen, Allaahumma Ameen.
So very true.

Ramadhaan Mubarak,
Wassalaam.
Assalaamualikum ukhtee. Been a while since Ive visited your blog. Hope your well inshaAllah.
I love this reminder you wrote and the hadith from our Prophet (sallahu alahay wasalam) comes to my mind where he said: “Whoever among you sees an evil action, then let him change it with his hand [by taking action]; if he cannot, then with his tongue [by speaking out]; and if he cannot, then with his heart – and that is the weakest of faith.” Narrated by Muslim in his Saheeh. So inshaAllah the least you can do is hate these acts in your heart. But if you can give naseeha to your sisters then that is even better. Kind words go a long way! Alhamdulilah :)
And Im glad (truely alhamdulilah) that you didnt hate on these sisters like how its usually done (in some places) but rather you feel sorry for them. Which is what we should be feeling wallahi and not hate towards them! Cos Allah only knows where we will be tomorrow. I might be happy that I am reading my quran and wearing my hijab today - but only Allah knows how I will end up tomorrow! And that hadith of the prophet comes to mind where "..Verily one of you will be doing the acts of people of Jannah until there is a arms lenght between you and it. And that which have been writen over takes him and so he behaves that the people of Hell and thus enter it..." SubhanAllah!! So we should fear for ourselves too!
So my advice to you is to not leave these sisters and try to bring them closer to you and the deen. Take one step for the Allah and Allah will make your coming steps easy peasy inshaAllah :)
Looking forward to your future reminders. JazakiAllah khair.
wasalaam
Ps: Happy belated Eid!:P and hope you had a lush Ramadhan inshaAllah. xx
